The facts about Jesus (May Allah’s peace be upon him) in the Bible

The Church explains the concept of the trinity as follows:

"There is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one; the glory equal, the Majesty co-eternal. The Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not three Gods, but one God... "

The nature of this creed has for centuries been so controversial and mysterious that even its own author, Athanasius of Alexandria, one of the principal leaders of the Pauline church, failed to understand it. He himself said that, "whenever he forced his understanding to meditate on the divinity of the Logos, his toilsome and unavailing efforts recoiled (which means 'to shrink') on themselves; that the more he thought, the less he comprehended; and the more he wrote, the less capable was he of expressing his thoughts."

The problem is that the trinity seems to be a theory, with many fancy words and confusing ideas which don't have any proof in the Bible. In fact, the Bible testifies that God is not a man in Numbers (23:19)! In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke there are about 22 references where Jesus (AS) is called the son of God, however, many people were called sons of God throughout the Bible and Jesus (May Allah’s peace be upon him) not once called himself so. His own preference was for the title of Ben Adam, which just meant man or son of man. Jesus (May Allah’s peace be upon him) is called a Prophet in Matthew (21:11 and 46), Mark (6:4), John (6:14), and Luke (24:19), and in I Timothy (2:5) he is called a man; in John (20:17) he said:

'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'

Even the New Catholic Encyclopedia, which has official approval, admits that the doctrine of the trinity was unknown to the early Christians and that it was formulated in the last quarter of the fourth century. It has no bases in the Gospel, which teaches us the Oneness of God. With all these proofs, the Christians are either ignorant of their own scriptures or they are merely blind followers of a false god.
